If you’re having issues on logging in or technical problems with MGC please include your device’s brand, name, Android version and the error message as exactly as possible, if you get one.

If you get that message at login, Linden Lab may have banned your IP address or device because of abuse or something similar. That doesn’t mean that it had to be you who caused that block, because of dynamic IP addresses.
To solve this get in contact with Linden Lab via support.secondlife.com.

License code could not be calculated

The license code could not be calculated. If this is a WiFi only device, make sure WiFi is on and connected. Otherwise try to restart your device and login again. If that doesn’t help, your device is probably not compatible.

If you have already restarted your device and again receive this message, your device maybe not compatible with Mobile Grid Client. This is due the fact that some manufactures don’t correctly customize Android for their devices. (They do not set the value of TelephonyManager.getPhoneType() properly.)
But in most cases custom support from our side is possible. So please get in contact with us via e-mail.
